Izolatoarele din sticlă folosesc o structură de sinterizare a sticlă cu performanțe bune de etanșare. Ele pot fi utilizate cu conectori cu unde milimetrice, cum ar fi SMA și 2.92, și pot fi, de asemenea, utilizați direct între plăcile PCB, șabloane și șabloane și componente. Folosește sticlă (constanta dielectrică este de aproximativ 4,0) ca material izolator, iar conductorii interior și exterior sunt fabricați din material aliaj Kovar. După sinterizarea la temperatură înaltă, suprafața este nichelată cu aur. Izolatoarele de sticlă au avantajele dimensiunilor mici, greutății ușoare, etanșeității la aer și fiabilității ridicate. Ele sunt utilizate mai ales în ocazii cu cerințe de etanșare sau cerințe pentru volumul și greutatea produsului. Sunt potrivite pentru instalare intensivă. Conductorul interior poate fi conectat într-o varietate de moduri, cum ar fi conectare, montare pe suprafață, sudare și lipire cu sârmă de aur.
